Model NK3-VFR składa się z trzech odrębnych części: miękkiego, rozkładanego etui, aluminiowego klipbordu oraz 50-cio kartkowego bloczku gotowych do wypełnienia formularzy operacyjnego planu lotu. Wszystkie trzy elementy zostały zaprojektowane tak by można z nich było korzystać łącznie lub zupełnie niezależnie - dodatkowa taśma dołączona do zestawu pozwala umieścić klipbord na drugim udzie a wielkość formularzy OPL została dopasowana do rozmiaru foliowej kieszeni umieszczonej w centralnej części nakolannika.
